James Schinkel Realty offers a variety of agricultural real estate services. Your farm or ranch can be listed for sale on the MLS® System, in-house exclusive, confidential, or via a For Sale by Tender campaign. Alternatively, James Schinkel Realty offers Buyer’s Brokerage services to help find your new farm or ranch using the MLS® System and other industry contacts. A simple or highly detailed and comprehensive Letter of Opinion of Value can be written for an estate evaluation, financial statement update, or for bank financing (select institutions).

James was born and raised on a mixed grain and cattle farm in the Jansen/Lanigan area. He became partners with his father and co-managed the operation until his father semi-retired and the farm was sold in 2000. They later co-owned a custom hay cutting/baling and swathing business based out of Humboldt, SK until 2009. This experience has given James a broad knowledge of Saskatchewan agriculture, farming, and ranching. After working with two of the top farmland real estate brokerages in Saskatchewan, James Schinkel Realty was established in July 2014. James has over 20 years of experience in farm and ranch real estate sales.

James also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture (B.Sc.(Ag.)) from the University of Saskatchewan (’99), with a major in Agricultural Economics and minor in Agribusiness.
